Description
Our Thermofisher NicoletTM iS50 spectrometer with built-in attenuated total reflectance module can rapidly analyse various samples formats: powders, pellets, films, bulk materials.
This spectrometer can be paired with the TGA-DSC to perform evolved gas analysis.
The instrument has a spectral range 15 to 27,000 cm-1.
FTIR measures the absorption and transmission of infrared radiation through a sample. The signal gives a spectrum representing the molecular “fingerprint” of the sample, enabling the identification of chemical structures.
