    Equipments Details

    Description

Equipped with a 100kN load cell, this Universal Testing Machine is capable of accurately testing under the force range from 200N to 100kN with an accuracy of 0.5% of applied force, meeting the needs of testing various medium-scale timber, metal, polymer, and other samples. The travel distance is 1198mm and the max specimen width is 650mm.

The machine can be used in tensile, compressive, and three-point bend tests. However, the machine is mainly used under tensile mode. For flat samples, the flat wedges allow sample thickness to be up to 21mm. For samples with a round cross-section area, the V wedges provide a testing capacity of 4 to 19mm of sample diameter.

Instead of the traditional strain gauge type extensometer, the machine is equipped with the VectorExtensometerU200 with 25-180mm gauge length. This extensometer can detect strain in a non-contact fashion due to its optical system, it also integrates adaptive AI capabilities within the hardware, improving measurement accuracy, data consistence, and operator safety. It has a resolution of 0.5µm and is capable of ISO 9513 Class 0.5 and ASTM E83 Class B1.
