Personal profile

Overview

I am a Doctoral Student in the School of the Built Environment and Architecture's Department of Construction, Property, and Surveying.
I also graduated from London South Bank University with a master's degree in Quantity Surveying.
I am currently engaged as an Hourly Paid Lecturer in the Department of Construction, Property and Surveying at LSBU.

Research Interests

My doctoral research is about Mental health services in the construction Industry. I am looking at developing a conceptual framework to minimise variability in the access and quality of mental well-being services in the industry.
Through this research, I am seeking to contribute to effective mitigation of the mental health challenges within the UK Built Environment and also contribute to improving the well being of the construction workforce. I am passionate about understanding the factors that predicate on high levels of productivity, efficiency and quality delivery of services.
My previous research was on Modular construction. I looked at how modular homes can be used as alternatives to provide affordable housing in London. The primary aim of the study was to investigate the impact of modular construction on housing affordability in London to answer the question: can modular construction be seen as a propensity to housing affordability in London?
