Research Interests

I am an Associate Lecturer in the LSBU Business School. I joined LSBU in the year 2020 to pursue a Doctorate degree in Innovation, Leadership, Strategy and Management, having previously worked as an Associate Researcher at the Lagos Business School, Lagos, and studied Organisational Behaviour at the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria. Since joining LSBU, I have been involved with teaching and conducting research, among other volunteering roles. Currently, I co-lead in teaching Business Research Methods at the Business School.
I am passionate about diversity management and how this shapes the workplace. My research focuses on understanding cultural identities of individuals and how this influences their decision-making behaviour at work. Specifically, whether and how the cultural biases of individuals come to play within work contexts, and whether these biases are moderated by cognitive factors at the individual level.
I recently presented a paper on this topical area in the Academy of Management Journal Conference in Seattle, July 2022, courtesy of the immense support from my Supervisors (Prof. Karin Moser and Dr. Barbara Czarnecka) and funding from the London Centre for Business and Entrepreneurship Research.
