I gained my BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Guilan University, in 2013, and my MSc in Materials Science and Engineering at Kiel University, in 2017. In 2019, I received a scholarship from Federal State Funding at Kiel University to start my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Gorb and co-supervision of Dr. Rajabi. During my PhD at Kiel University, I worked on the development of design strategies for adaptive functional structures inspired by insect wings. Such strategies are often low-cost and easy to implement in engineering applications. My PhD resulted in publication of three peer-reviewed journal articles and two patents.
Research interests
I am currently working at the School of Engineering, London South Bank University. My main research is focused on Functional Engineering Structures inspired by Natural Design Strategies.
