Personal profile
Overview
I am a lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography within the Institute of Health and Social Care at LSBU. I joined this team early 2022 after a clinical career at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where I worked as a senior rotational radiographer and spent a lot of time working in CT, IR and the Evelina Children's Hospital. I am pleased to be back at LSBU, where I graduated from in 2016. I teach across the Diagnostic Radiography BSc programme and the Interventional Radiography PG Certificate.
Research interests
I am interested in many areas of diagnostic radiography, including advances in imaging technique in CT scanning and radiation science, especially the teaching of this. I am one of the academic leads for the Allied Health Professionals Race and Allyship Cultural Equity Collective (RACEC). I promote work in decolonising the curriculum in Diagnostic Radiography.
I am currently studying for my PGCHE and FHEA accreditation.
