Overview

I am the Course Director for the BSc Children's Nursing course within the Institute of Health. I joined LSBU in 2014 having previously worked at Birmingham Children's Hospital as a Clinical Educator in Paediatric Intensive Care. I teach on a variety of modules, particularly focusing on the care of the critically ill child.
I completed my Masters in Education at Birmingham City University in 2014, which enabled me to register as a nurse teacher with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Research Interests

I have presented research at conferences. I also write and peer review procedures for Clinicalskills.net.
