Overview

I am a Senior Lecturer at London South Bank University. Prior to my academic career, I worked as an in-house solicitor serving a listed company with over 40 entities and worked closely with several international law firms such as Dorsey & Whitney, Baker & McKenzie and Allen & Overy. I have also taught at the University of Essex, Glyndwr University London and Kingston University.

Research interests

My research interests include CSR, entrepreneurship amongst vulnerable groups (e.g. refugees and those with autism and learning disabilities), social entrepreneurship, the legal aspects of business and business and law pedagogies. I have published research articles in the Academy of Management Learning and Education (ABS4), International Small Business Journal (ABS3), Entrepreneurship and Regional Development (ABS3), Journal of General Management (ABS2), Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies. I have peer-reviewed for Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, The International Journal of Human Resources Management, Business Ethics: A European Review, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research, The Journal of General Management, The International Journal of Management Education, Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies and East Asia: An International Quarterly. My publications were included in LSBU's Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 and 2021 submissions. I was one of the guest editors of a special issue in the Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies.
