Overview

Course Lead/Lecturer for the BSc Diagnostic Radiography (and integrated apprenticeships) in the school of Allied and Community Health.

I joined LSBU in 2019 as a guest lecturer whilst working clinically at University College Hospital London as an advanced band 7 Diagnostic Radiographer. In December of that year I became a full time member of staff as Admissions Lead and level 6 module lead.

My clinical experience includes extensive CT and interventional work with cancer patients with specialist training in CT Colonography and Urology cases. I have worked at various hospitals within greater London with have additional experience in veterinary radiography and diagnostic department management at a specialist secondary referral centre.  I remain a qualified and HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer.

Currently I am involved with several specialist Interest Groups.  The CT (Computed Tomography) SIG, the Society of Radiographers Education Group and The Simulation in Education Group. These groups meet and have forums to discuss current and developing practice with these areas which informs my teaching and keep delivery inline with best practice.
