Personal profile

Overview

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering, working predominantly in Advanced Vehicle Engineering. I am the module leader for Engineering Design, Analysis and Manufacture. I am also the academic supervisor for the LSBU Formula Student team, South Bank Racing.

Research Interests

I combine my role at LSBU with working in the motorsport industry, working trackside as a race engineer in the British Touring Car Championship. I also have ten years of experience working in research and development for transmission manufacturer Xtrac, and Formula One team Red Bull Racing. Prior to this I worked as a data and performance engineer for a number of different race teams in a range of national, European and world championships. I run my own consultancy company, specialising in engineering and development services that combine the wide-ranging skill set built over my career.
