Overview

I am a part-time EdD student in the Department of Law and Social Science, with a completed Master’s in Education Technology and Learning and a Teaching Certification. Currently, I am employed as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science, specializing in AI and Robotics.

Research interests

I am deeply passionate about STEM education, with a focus on promoting equitable access to  STEM education for underrepresented groups. My interests also extend to eSports, AR, and VR technology, digital media, karate, and archery.

My doctoral research critically examines the historical and systemic exclusion of Black students within computing and computer science, highlighting how these fields have been predominantly shaped by white narratives. At the Master’s level, my research explored the digital divide and its implications.
