Fabienne Benoist is the Course Director for the BA (Hons) Education Top Up programme and a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Education and School Partnerships at London South Bank University (LSBU). Fabienne has a first degree from King’s College London in MFL and Education, a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Greenwich, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from LSBU and recently graduated with a Masters of Education from LSBU. She has taught in inner London mainstream primary schools as well as specialised ASD units since 2005.
Research Interests
Fabienne has a wide range of interests including critical disability and autism studies, social justice, poverty and inclusion. She has completed a chapter for a book on inclusive practice focusing on inclusion and children from low income families which was published in May 2017. Fabienne has also published a small research study on disabled students access to support at university in 2019.
