Overview

I am a senior lecturer in School of Allied and Community Health. I joined LSBU in 2006 having previously worked as a senior occupational therapist in a range of adult and older people mental health services for over fifteen years. My clinical area of interest is occupational therapy practice with people with dementia having worked in Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust Community Mental Health Care of Older People for five years before joining LSBU. I have a Diploma in Occupational therapy and a Masters Degree in Mental Health of Older People from University College London.

Research interests

I am passionate about practice learning and linking theory to practice through practice education. My research focus is on learners’ experience on practice and practice learning. My recent project includes occupational therapy students’ experience of practice learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
