Overview

I am Head of the Finance, Economics, Accounting & Analytics Division at LSBU Business School.
My background is in accounting and finance. I qualified as a chartered accountant after which I worked for a number of accountancy practices in the city at a senior manager level. In these roles I was involved with mergers, acquisitions, audit, risk management, company flotations, corporate recovery, taxation and business consultancy.
This extensive experience allows me to bring a wealth of practical and current experience to my teaching. Also, I use my business contacts to assist with curriculum development and provide job opportunities for students.

Research Interests

In addition to my work at the university, I am also a practising accountant and senior partner at I P Associates, Chartered Accountants which is a firm that I founded over 20 years ago.
I lead on the Business Schools relationship with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales
