    Overview

    I am Dr. Janet Aylott and am a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition in the School of Applied Sciences at LSBU. I joined the teaching staff at LSBU in September 2020, having worked for over 20 years as a Registered Nutritionist within the food industry and as a freelance consultant. I teach Nutrition across several degree programmes within Applied Sciences and the National Bakery School.
    I am passionate about the role that nutrition plays in health and disease and use my experience of both research and commercial nutrition to support my teaching.
