Research Interests
My scholarship operates in the intersections of youth studies, methodology, philosophy and critical theory/pedagogy. I have published in various educational journals and I have co-authored and co-edited several books published by Routledge, including Understanding Education and Economics: Key Debates and Critical Perspectives (2020), Questioning Gender Politics: Contextualising Educational Disparities in Uncertain Times (2024) and Towards Posthumanism in Education Theoretical Entanglements and Pedagogical Mappings (2024).
I have also published several book chapters and presented at national and international conferences. I have worked as an external examiner for various educational and social sciences courses in the UK Higher Education sector. I am currently supervising doctoral students exploring a variety of issues in education.
As a researcher, I have a passion for working with educators and young people and have explored how co-creation and collaboration can widen the affordances of qualitative research.
