Overview

I am currently a PhD student in Education at London South Bank University (LSBU). My PhD explores how parents and teachers of autistic pupils can bring together their respective knowledge and experience to contribute to a more inclusive secondary school environment.  I also co-ordinate the Critical Autism and Disability Studies strand in LSBU’S Building Future Communities Research Centre.  I have also worked on various research projects at LSBU with the common theme of inclusive practice, particularly in relation to neurodivergence. Prior to this, I  was a social worker with adults with learning disabilities for many years.
