Personal profile

Overview

I am a registered nurse and academic at London South Bank University, engaged in research addressing the challenges of medical misinformation and its impact on healthcare. Currently pursuing a PhD, I employ a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews to explore how healthcare professionals’ attitudes and beliefs shape their responses to misinformation. My research aims to uncover key gaps in understanding and develop evidence-based strategies that enhance clinical communication and decision-making.

Beyond my research, I am dedicated to advancing educational practice through an innovative redesign of the biosciences curriculum. I have integrated genomics content and reimagined pedagogical approaches for teaching anatomy and physiology by developing interactive biosciences workstations. My teaching and learning sabbatical provided the opportunity to refine assessment strategies and embed new teaching practices across the curriculum. These initiatives have significantly boosted student engagement and learning outcomes, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical application.
