    Overview

    Senior lecturer in the Education division and Level 4 lead. I teach on the BA Education, PGCE FESS, APA programmes, Masters level CPD, and have led the Primary PGCE English module. I previously worked in the primary sector before moving into higher education. I have an MA in Children's Literature and  completed my Professional Doctorate in Education in March 2026: Academic reading otherwise? An inquiry in the making. My research interests include academic literacies and pedagogies, self-inquiry pedagogies and first year experience (FYE). I take a postqualitative/feminist/posthuman/materialist approach to inquiry and  methods.
