I am a senior lecturer in Construction Management at the College of Technology and Environment, London South Bank University. I previously worked at the LSBU School of Engineering and Business School respectively. I taught project and asset management to Railway Engineering apprenticeship students. I taught Risks and its management in the global markets, the global financial markets, and several other courses at the Business School.
My early career was in Banking outside the UK and briefly within the UK.
My research so far has been focused on real estate finance and economics. I developed a toolkit for securing finance for real estate project development. This toolkit is made up of the following components :
1. An inventory of skills, knowledge, and competences for securing finance for real estate project development.
2. A conceptual framework of environmental scan for securing finance for real estate project development.
3. Process map for securing finance for real estate project finance
4. A conceptual framework for a career path for securing finance for real estate project development
5. A conceptual framework for training and education for securing finance for real estate project development.
I also have a research interest in Modern Methods of Construction, collaborative workings in construction and procurement in an increasingly digital construction spectrum.
Some of my past publications are on Haplo and ORCID with links below.
