Personal profile

Overview

I am an innovator, researcher and educator at London South Bank University (LSBU) in the field of Project Management, having completed my PhD at University College London (UCL), where I explored inter-organisational governance, cooperation, and coordination in large, complex projects. My research interests lie in project governance, inter-organisational governance, contractual and relational governance, decision-making heuristics, systems thinking, cybernetics and project-as-practice philosophy.

I have had the privilege of publishing an article on inter-organisational governance, as well as presenting two conference papers at EURAM and BAM, focusing on the intersection of project management theory and practice.

Before transitioning into academia, I spent over 5 years working as a civil engineer and cost consultant. This hands-on experience allowed me to work on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale developments to large, high-stakes ventures. I also have extensive experience in IT project management, having spent over five years leading the implementation of complex IT systems.

As a passionate advocate for collaboration and knowledge sharing, I am always open to engaging in consultancy or implementation projects where I can apply my interdisciplinary expertise to solve complex problems. If you’re interested in exploring new ways to approach project governance or seeking support with your project management initiatives, feel free to get in touch—I’m always happy to collaborate and share insights.
