Research Interests
In 2007 upon winning an EPSRC Doctoral Training Award, I joined Kingston University as a full-time student and completed my Ph.D. in the area of Open Source Communication Networks in 2010. In 2009, I implemented my Ph.D. output using specially designed ARM architecture-based mobile FPGAs hardware with XScale microarchitecture and commercialised it through SwanMesh Uk Ltd. In 2011, during my Job at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan, my R&D Project “A Dual Radio Wireless Mesh Network” was awarded as “High Profile University Academic Research Project with Economic Impact” by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and was selected by the Government of Pakistan for Country Representation to showcase it as the country’s most innovative project at the International Exhibition on "Science, Technique and Innovation Technologies in the Epoch of Great Revival, held at Ashgabat on June 12-14 in Turkmenistan.
I have also contributed to several consultancy projects in UK and China including a world-first digital airport trolley called cTrolley developed by Chigoo which is operational in several airports worldwide.
I actively volunteer to provide my support for capacity building initiatives overseas to contribute to the UN's Global SDGs. I have served as Member Board of Governor for the UN’s Independent Monitoring Association for Child Labour (IMAC) program set up to the elimination of Child Labour from the Sailkot’s soccer ball industry in Pakistan.
