I am Senior Lecturer in the Division of Construction, Property & Surveying, School of Built Environment and Architecture and have been with LSBU since 2012. I specialise in teaching BIM and digital technologies used within the construction industry on a range of courses and levels, with my aim being to enhance the digital skills of the next generation of professionals entering the industry. I possess several years of engineering design experience, gained with a number of design and planning consultancies and hold an MSc in Product Design Engineering at Kingston University.
Research Interests
My research interests are focused on BIM pedagogy and collaboration. I am currently working with international partners on a joint educational project funded by the British Council which aims to: *Enhance built environment teaching and learning experience through a virtual platform for students, educators, and practitioners crossing disciplines and across project life cycle. *Boost teaching-informed research for students and scholars between the studied countries. I have also worked on a research project which analysed predicted Tsunami runup against real-world data with the aid of GIS and mathematical modelling.
