Overview
I graduated from Babcock University in Nigeria with a degree in nursing science before moving to the UK to continue my studies. In 2023, I completed my PhD at London South Bank University, evaluating the effectiveness of Mental Health First Aid within UK organisations.
Before completing my PhD, I worked as a research associate on an NIHR LSBU-KCL joint project. In October 2023, I joined the Division of Psychology as a lecturer. I am the deputy lead of the Lived Experience of Distress Research Group.
Research Interests
My main research interests are evaluating psychosocial interventions in mental health and developing an intervention that promotes help-seeking behaviour in mental health.
In addition, I am also interested in understanding how various intersecting identities affect the mental health of individuals, particularly from ethnic minority groups.
