Mr Peter Jones

Peter Jones qualified as a registered nurse in 1986 and has worked in various acute settings and later in practice, mainly with older adult patients in both in acute care and rehabilitation.
He has been a lecturer at LSBU since 2003 teaching mainly on Older Adult, and Research Modules. His areas of academic nursing study have been in Palliative Care at University of Luton and an MSc in Nursing Older people at the City University, where his dissertation was on the experience of older male adults caring for ill spouses/partners.

Peter's interests are in the history of nursing older people, decision-making and dementia care.
