Personal profile

Overview

I am a lecture on the Therapeutic Radiography programme within the Institute of Health and Social Care. I qualified as Therapeutic Radiographer in July 2010 from the University of the West of England, Bristol. I joined LSBU in 2016 having previously worked clinically at Guys and St Thomas' hospital and other London hospitals prior to that. I teach across all of the Therapeutic Radiography programmes and I'm passionate about Radiotherapy planning & dosimetry and clinical practice.

Research Interests

I was previously seconded for a year as a peripatetic link lecture on behalf of Health Education England, focusing on building consistency across multiple hospital sites in clinical education. To ensure students receive equal opportunities and positive experiences while completing their clinical training.
My research focuses on students experiences on clinical placement and how to create positive experiences. With my first publication being Adopting Review, Reflect and Re-focus [Triple R] sessions to support pre-registration therapeutic radiography students post clinical placement.
