My background in fashion stems back over 10 years where I have gained vast expertise in fashion business, marketing, buying and merchandising, sustainability, cultural studies; diversity.
Additionally, my knowledge of colour & print are regarding within the industry. I have experience within entrepreneurship and building a fashion businesses.
I am truly passionate about enterprise and have used my skills successfully to start the Fashion department at LSBU.
I crafted a successful International Business pathway course at the London College of Fashion.
Within LSBU I am currently Course Director for BA (Hons) Fashion Buying and Merchandising & Senior Lecturer for BA Fashion Communications.

My professional affiliations span not only within the fashion industry, but beyond. I have worked with a number of industry experts throughout my profession. This has enabled me to gain a foothold into areas such as technology, sustainability and beauty industry.
After many years in fashion I went on to set up one a leading style consultancies in the UK and fashion brand.
As a professional practitioner, I strongly believe in the inclusion of entrepreneurial skills, which are directly transferred into my teaching as a fashion business owner. This ensures the students to have real time experience throughout every step of the course.
With my business acumen I have worked on a global level with various fashion brands as a buyer. This enabled me to become a creative and product develop collections for brands which turned over a vast amount of financial profit.
Additionally, diversity and representation are key in my teachings. A vital part for the future of fashion.
