    Overview

    I joined LSBU as a full time member of staff in 2021. As a qualified primary practitioner and senior lecturer in primary mathematics and professional studies, I have had a variety of teaching experiences in the primary education and higher education sector. I have successfully managed and developed undergraduate primary mathematics and PGCE modules, overseen the academic and pastoral care of students as well as having contributed to the development and enrichment of school partnerships for both undergraduate and post-graduate trainees. I welcome opportunities to mentor and motivate students and colleagues to achieve their objectives.

    Research interests

    I am the deputy Head of Initial Teacher Education at London South Bank University. With a degree in music, specialising in piano and violin I have enjoyed the privilege of performing in the UK and across Europe before training as a primary teacher.
    My interests lie in high quality music and mathematics education in primary schools as well as promoting well-being and mindfulness for teachers and children.
