Overview

I am a Registered Nurse with a background in Community Nursing as a District Nurse Sister. (Specialist Community Public Health Nurse). I then worked as a Modern Matron managing the community district nursing service.
In 2006 I joined LSBU as a Senior Lecturer in the Adult Nursing Department. I have held a variety of positions such as Lead Link Lecturer for North East London Foundation Trust, and Cohort Leader and I recently became Course Director for the Havering campus.
I teach a range of subjects to pre-registration students. My area of expertise are Clinical Skills, Public Health, and Health Promotion.

Research Interests

I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. My Masters is in Higher Education. I have also co-authored a book chapter 5: Professional Skills for Adult Nursing part 2, title of the book, Introduction to Nursing for First Year Students in 2019.
