Research Interests

My research primarily focuses on sustainability management accounting, exploring how sustainability is integrated into and used for internal decision-making processes. I am particularly interested in the behavioural and social dimensions of decision-making for sustainability. I conduct qualitative, interpretive research in sustainability, drawing on pragmatic and critical theories.

While my main emphasis is on management accounting and sustainability, I also engage in research across other areas of accounting and finance, including sustainability reporting, environmental strategies, internal control and audit, forensic accounting, sustainability finance and accounting for healthcare.

My research outputs include multiple research articles including a systematic review paper in Business Strategy and the Environment (ABS 3*, ABDC A) and conference papers in several national and international conferences. I also act as a peer reviewer in several journals.
