    As a Researcher, my research interests focus on contract management, project governance, dispute resolution, NLP in risk identification from contract documents, etc.

    As a Practioner in the construction industry, I offer consulting services (including contract drafting, claim management, dispute resolution, etc); and provide trainings (FIDIC Certified Trainer of Fundamental Construction Contracts V2).

    Research Interests

    If I could only choose one word to describe my research, that would be contract. Because I do research of the lifecycle of a contract, thus my research interests and topics are quite wide. Below is the topics I have been doing related to contract, particually in the construction industry.

    1. Interplay between the use of Contract and the use of Relationship (Trust particularly) in project governance;
    2. Interplay between the influence of contract on project performance and the influence of Trust on project performance;
    3. The moderation role of culture in the interplay between contract and trust;
    4. The influence of contract design (complexity in terms of control, coordination, adaptation) on project outcomes (parties' behaviors, performance, satisfication);
    5. Automatic risk identification from client's tendering documents during the bidding stage from a contractor's perspective;
    6. Claim management, Confllct management;
    7. Contractual enforcement after violation;
    8. Alternatives of contractual enforcement after violation;
    9. Dispute resolutions;
    10. Alternative dispute resolutions.
