Abstract
A survey was carried out to give a snap-shot of the health related behaviours of a sample of British nurses undertaking part-time study at two educational establishments. The behaviours of the sample are related to those found in previous US-based studies, and for gender differences. The survey has provided the basis for a larger study which is in the planning stage.
