Abstract

This chapter is written by staff at two Development Education Centres, Cumbria Development Education Centre (CDEC) and one in East London, the Humanities Education Centre, Tower Hamlets (HEC). Both centres support primary and secondary schools in including and developing a global dimension, alongside local community development in the curriculum.
