N2 - Teaching in higher education is a challenge for many reasons including the lack of attendance. In this 21st century, the technology disruption and the Covid-19 pandemic profoundly impacted how we teach, and students learn. All these changes must be tackled to maintain student engagement, retention, progression, satisfaction, and many other targets. In the last academic year 2021/22, we have been back on campus after the pandemic but with students that could be self-isolated at any time due to Covid-19, or not attending due to illness, personal issues, visas extensions, strikes, etc. preventing their attendance on campus. The lack of attendance hurts the student’s performance. This paper presents a case study of how a module is designed and implemented to be non-attendance-proof using a blended approach.
