Abstract
This presentation outlines normal sex development, as a precursor to a discussion on differences in sex development. Focus is given on developmental embryology, with development of the genital ducts, testis and ovary. Hormones are discussed, and there is also a focus on 'The Story of Sex Development', which is patient focused literature developed by the patient support group and charity, dsdfamilies.
