Abstract
This study aims to discuss the implementation of design thinking methods in the Design of Food Product Development course in the Food Technology study program, Universitas Trilogi. This study tries to develop a learning trajectory that can be applied in the classroom by highlighting two things, which is the design and the adaptation needed. This research using descriptive qualitative approach, while data collection is compiled through interviews, observation of learning activities in class, taking tests and structured assignments given to students. The results showed that the design thinking method could be applied in the classroom with adaptation from its ideal form to some degree. It was also found that there was a suitability between Hypothetical Learning Trajectory prepared by lecturers and Actual Learning Trajectory experienced by students.
