Research output: Contribution to journalComment/debate

Abstract

Quality of life (QoL) encompasses an individual’s perception of their position within the context of personal culture and value systems according to individual goals, expectations and standards.1 The proportion of adolescent and young adults (AYA) surviving cancer has significantly increased over the past 40 years.2 AYA cancer survivors are at risk of long-term implications due to the cancer and/or treatment received.1 It is unclear how this experience influences their QoL.
