The methodology used an interpretivist, inductive, qualitative, textual analysis, including a thematic, content and narrative analysis of students’ reflective diaries, and employers’ reflections. To support this observations and round table discussions were used to explore the staff perceptions of the internship management process. The paper explores the experiential learning and its effectiveness for the intern and the employer as well as consider the impact that these reflections could have on LSBU Business School and other similar institutions such as curriculum development.
