The author has plagiarized parts of content that had already appeared in Looking at European Architecture: A Critical View, 90−104. ISBN-10:293039126X, Guide to Common Urban Imaginaries in Contested Spaces: The “Hands-on Famagusta” Project, 264−265. ISBN-13:9783868594201, “Hands-on Famagusta” project at www.handsonfamagusta.org. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original, has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should appropriately cited. As such this article represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter, apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
