Abstract
The EntreComp Framework was released by the European Commission in 2016 capturing 15 core competencies for entrepreneurship. The EntreComp Framework is validated for use in enterprise education practice by the QAA in its Guidance for Enterprise & Entrepreneurship Education: Guidance for UK Higher Education Providers (2018). In the pilot project report the author demonstrates practical applications of the EntreComp Framework for educators in learning and teaching activities supporting the design of modules; student personal & career development; and engagement with professional body competency requirements. It provides case studies of practical applications of The EntreComp Framework in extra-curricular & in-curricular activities across a range of fields including engineering, midwifery & arts. The report concludes with the benefits and limitations of using the EntreComp Framework. The report uses the case study format of Enterprise Educators UK ETC Toolkit.
