Abstract

This poster, presented at WasteEng2024, compares the efficacy of walnut shell biochars produced using different peak temperatures and pretreatments for filtration of contaminants of emerging concern from wastewater treatment plant influent. Peak temperatures ≥350 ⁰C were shown to be most effective.
